Part-time Personal Assistant to New York-based Artist

Artist seeks a part-time administrative/personal assistant 1-2 days a week in Manhattan Studio. Leonard Porter Studio, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual who can handle a variety of tasks. This is an ideal job for someone with an interest in the arts, who would enjoy working in a calm and relaxed studio atmosphere. We offer competitive hourly wages based on experience and qualifications.

Candidate should be:
· Comfortable with basic computer applications (Mac), including MS Office
· Trustworthy and responsible with confidential personal documents
· Able to work independently on long-term projects
· Willing to learn new computer skills (we also see this as a great opportunity to expand your software knowledgebase)
· Pro-active and resourceful

Duties Include:
· General office management—answer phones, send faxes, data entry, answer emails, send correspondence, order supplies
· Bill paying and light bookkeeping (knowledge of Quickbooks a plus, but not req’d)
· Personal errands
· Travel arrangements—booking flight, car, hotel, as well as research on destinations, visas etc. as needed
· Maintain and update several websites—duties include gathering, editing and formatting text and images for the web, (knowledge of html software a plus, but not req’d).
· Help create print materials and proposals for clients and potential clients
· Client interaction
· Hi-res scanning and printing of artwork (knowledge of Adobe Photoshop a plus, but not req’d)
· Research projects to source products and/or services.
· Create monthly spreadsheets to track company’s financials
· Periodic analysis of stock portfolio and stock market, including graphing data, using MSExcel
· Event planning and coordination, including mass mailings
· Press/Marketing—brainstorming and
· Archiving
